The VFB Single Family Subdivision Project

We are building a Class A 100 unit single family home (“SFR”) community of directly on the Central Florida corridor. Each SFR unit will vary from one to two stories and comfortably sized at 1100-1500 square feet, with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The design features an open-living concept with large spaces for comfortable living.
By using block (one story) and block + stick-built construction we are able to complete the project extremely quickly using a simple, proven method that is relatively inexpensive.

For many years the number of new housing units built has not kept pace with demand. From 1968 to 2000, annual demand was 1.51M units but only 1,061,000 units were built. Amazon.com's plans to occupy a new 1-million-square-foot warehouse in Polk County are official.

Amazon on Wednesday said it will create more than 500 full-time jobs starting at $15 an hour in Auburndale, at a fulfillment center that will handle orders for large items like sports equipment, patio furniture, fishing rods, pet food, kayaks and bicycles. Employees at the new fulfillment center will have “comprehensive benefits on day one,” Amazon said.
